Current and proposed Mining operations in the Cariboo is a major issue for our region. My office has been working with industry and the appropriate ministries on a number of existing and proposed mining developments and I have received significant correspondence raising both support and concerns on this issue. I will be hosting a town hall in Likely early in the New Year to discuss mining activities with area residents. Further details of this event will be posted once established.
